I agree with your post OP, but disagree completely with your title.

I'm the biggest AI and career mode ***** here, but the AI in ufc 2 NOW is way better than it was in ufc 1, but it is nowhere near good now. Just not as bad as it was in ufc 1.

But in terms of parrying? Just as bad. So surprised that they ignored sooooo many complaints since ufc 1 has launched, just wow. Remove the damn thing, that's not how it works in the real world, you especially can't parry powerful shots, it'll just take your open palm with it for a ride into your face if you try to parry a power puncher like Rumble Johnson.

And don't get me started on mid/low parries. where the hell did they get that idea from.. Checking kicks isn't even in the meta or never has been in the EA UFC series SMH
