2K needs to develop their own MMA title

They definitely need competition to make them up their game..I'll agree with that for sure. But 2k developing the game doesn't ensure it will be a great game or anything.

That's how EA MMA started before they got the UFC license. The biggest hang up is that those organizations might not have the fighter likenesses as part of the contract, so you could sign a deal with One FC and use their name and branding but you'd still have to negotiate with fighters individually.

NBA2K might be excellent....but that's really all they have. The MLB2K series was abysmal for years. And say what you want about the UFC games, go look at the UFC game version of Mike Tyson compared to the WWE 2K version of Mike Tyson and try not to laugh.

Compared to the WWE2K series, UFC plays better in my opinion, and looks IMMENSELY better.

However, I'm not opposed to anyone else making an MMA/UFC game. The more minds setting out to accomplish something, the better for everyone.

I'd rather them invest their energy in trying to produce a boxing game since nobody else seems to want to do it. Prizefighter wasn't very good, but I had fun with it. If they put the same energy into that as they do into 2K, we might have something worth playing.

I would welcome any other MMA game from ANY developer. 2K is the closest thing to EA, but it doesn't have to be them.

I'd rather have 2k develop their own MMA title too. EA clearly isn't gonna do any better than what they're doing with these games.
