Huge discrepancy between consoles

Recently went to PS4 to run some fights with a few buddies. I noticed a few things -

-The striking responsiveness (parries, high low blocking, strike input) on PS4 is INSANELY quicker than Xbox. It's a world of a difference.

- TDD, clinch denials, reversals and pretty much everything grappling related on PS4 is insanely inconsistant. I talked with a few players and they said grapple denials are hit or miss all the time. I was getting taken down almost at will and at times could NOT block a transition to save my life.

TLDR; The ground on Xbox is much more responsive while the striking on PS4 is much faster & smoother.

Just wanted to bring this some attention.

Re: Huge discrepancy between consoles

it's weird on ps4, sometimes I can deny every transition, sometimes none. I always assumed it was me, just weird how sometimes I can deny everything and sometimes nothing.

I generally avoid the ground like the plague unless I know I can deny.

I haven't played on Xbox, but to me striking response feels great as long as there isn't lag.

Weird it feels so different.

Onl1chka don't think so. Ground and Clinch is his main tactics. At least on PS4.

Because he's trash and runs around on a terrible connection and abuses it in MT.

Re: Huge discrepancy between consoles

One thing i'd like to see, is to have the transtion deny windows, be increased, depending on the input lag that connections cause.

So if a transition has the denial window of 200ms on the normal build of the game, when a match is at 200ms delay between the players, the denial window should be changed to 300ms or smth to compensate for the delay.

I think some of it has to do with stats and lag, in order to prove this you would need to have the exact same fighters with equal offensive and defensive stats on both consoles
