Ive been knocked out by me going for takedowns and my opponent doing flying knees to the body and head. It use to happen a lot when UFC 2 first came out but now I don't see the rocks that bad but it can work with the right fighter at certain times.

I would parry back, but since I never parry I don't have the muscle memory to effectively do it. Backdashing works sometimes, but just as often I'm frozen in my tracks while I get comboed when I attempt it. Can anyone help me with this, because I'm meeting more and more of these kinds of players, and it really sucks out any joy I have in this game.

i dont know what s wrong with ur game, but mine just doesnt work properly and i dont know what to think about it anymore.
4* escape artist doesnt help with anything, gates just wont move. magical two transition on ground in 0,5 sec which i cannot do with full stamina against 0 stamina opponent. my 5* stiff jab and 5* straight cross getting beaten by 1* stiff jab and 4* heavy straight cross, both fighters with default boxer stats, he can absorb my 1,2 to head and just go throught it with no problem, whilei cant do the same. in 0,5 sec i can throw 1,2 at opponent, but he at 0,5 can throw 2times 1,2 even with lower punch speed , making sense right?
i can be backdashing, side stepping,etc whatever but it seems opponent with lower movement skill got turbo boost and just can jump without forward dash right into my face by walking.
opponent can get magical reversal which looks they were done in like first frame of animation /based on info from grapple assist HUD/, which i dont think human mind and eye can capture but whatever, on other hand, my deny or reversal or arm traps are big NO NO
so logical conclusion is my online game is somehow always delayed and i dont understand why, and i dont understand if there s something wrong with my connection why i am host almost all the time

PS-it was interesting experience to bring my xbox to america best inn value for 2 days with crappy free wifi internet there, game seemed laggy here and there but nothing like my home wired one, it almost seemed like there s minor advantage in it, so i guess crappy wifi is way to go...

I also have an issue with incosistencies of the game and i don't know what they are related to.

Is it a connection thing? Am i not understanding a game mechanic right? Some days i'll go through div 8 dudes with no issues and other times i try playing against a weidman/jackare/anthony johnson and none of the strikes i throw at them div 6 noobs seem to do anything, they just walk through them and throw a jab/straight/kick combo that just cancels everything i try, even though i am the one to connect first and initiate the exchange.

Lots of incosistency and unexplained striking mechanics where the only justification i can find for it is : "different fighter stats" but it's so incosistent i just dont know what is going up with it.

I think even when a strike doesn't deal enough damage to stop you, it reduces the damage you deal to them. That's probably one of the key reasons as to why the body 1-2s are so good. They should be very vulnerable to "get the **** out" strikes, or combinations that can cause hit stuns at the second hit; but they're not.

That's probably true. I've met people punching me from mount bottom, thereby reducing the damage of my strikes

Oh how I miss the intercept knee of Undisputed 3, that'd straighten these guys out real quick
