Cool concept/ feuture to consider for EA UFC 3 Online

Let's say they ignore the online lag/delay issues again like they did from EA UFC 1 going to EA UFC 2 or lets say they can't completely annihilate the problem, one cool feuture would be to have some semi-scripted events(kinda like the current finish the fight mechanic), where instead of lagging, the lag compensation kicks in and the fighters perhaps kick one another in the groin or accidentally eye poke or lose their mouth piece and basically the referee steps in and halts the fight for like 15-30sec, until the one's affected connection can be stabilized or fixxed(turning off their downloads or having their siblings/roommates stop using the internet or turning off their lagswitches or atficial lag creating programms). If someone's connection does this like 2-3 times then the referee ends the fight via disqualification because the eye poked or groin kicked cannot continue or smth and if the issue is on both ends, then find an event that will have the situation end in a no contest via referee mistake or smth.

And if it's a severe connection issue like someone dropping or ragequiting, instead of getting a bland screen of Disconnected, then an AI takes over the opponent and injures the controlled fighter by forcing the opponent to do something fun, like kicking you and breaking their leg (Silva style) or injuring their ACL or by punching you and breaking their hand or even giving up and tapping out and losing via intimidation or perhaps tripping over themselves and taking a dive for you to take advantage off and instantly finish the fight or they go for a failed takedown attempt and KO themselves on the drop or if they are bleeding then the doctor steps in a stops the fight due to the bad injury.

If someone disconnects mid-through a submission, then you'll see them get their limb broken or them tapping out instantly which would register as a submission in your stats instead of a KO like the current system.

I'm in for the idea behind the last point you make. I've been saying this since day one. If you are about to submit someone and they quit, this should register as a submission. I hope there is a fairly easy way for the game to recognize this.

I also think there should be a mechanism that effectively penalizes quitters. I don't know how this would work, because they obviously don't care about their record. I'd prefer a stronger coding in the matchmaking algorithm which matches quitters against quitters (or quitters with players with a bad internet connection) while allowing those with a good connection, and maturity to take a loss like an adult, to be matched together.

It's a really cool idea, but I wonder if they want to dedicate resources to make extra animations for what is basically just unnecessary eye candy
