Online Game Modes?

All this is going to do is split the playerbase and you won't be able to find a match. I'm 90% sure this is only offline anyway. I don't see many changes coming, EA always does as little as possible each year.

Great idea man. Keep it so invite only unranked is the only way to get house special types of rulesets at least for online. Offline just have it all available.

This is the only way to keep it fair for ranked play. Ang you’ll never run into a prob with not being able to find an opponent

Yes each of these modes are awesome, i wouldn't mind them being accessible online. Give Us Online Fight Cards, and allow regular fights, Stand & Bang, Submission Showdown, Or Tournament as options for your Online Cards w/ Spectator mode.


I also want EA in the future to use these game modes in Career Mode. Use Submission Showdown as a way for our fighter to participate in Ju Jitsu Tournaments with a GI on our fighter and opponent.

Stand & Bang has great potential to be 4 separate modes as well.
Stand & Bang MMA All Strikes, Clinch Allowed, Ground TKO Allowed. No 3 Knockdown Rule.
Stand & Bang Boxing(Disables Kicks) Ref Breaks Up Clinch, Ref Ten Count, 3 Knockdown Rule
Stand & Bang Kick Boxing(Disables Low Kicks & Elbows) Ref Breaks Up Clinch, Ref Ten Count, 3 Knockdown Rule
Stand & Bang Muay Thai(Elbows, Low Kicks, & Knees Allowed) Ref Won't Break Up Clinch. Ten Count, 3 Knockdown Rule.

I know it's a far shot since this is UFC but it would be awesome if career mode had this and gave our fighters boxing gloves, rings, Different rules and a mini game like fight night to get back up after being knocked down only in these fights with those rulesets. That way we not only have amateur MMA fights as a way to get into the UFC but could also have a true kickboxing, boxing, muay thai, ju jitsu background. Crazy Idea yes but i don't think it would be that hard to create, just a some alteration of the modes they already created.

Even if they just made those modes available in the rivalry section. I’m in a league and being able to do. K1, or Grand Prix(tournament mode) and stuff with online people would be great. Want to work strictly on stand up? Stand n bang. Wanna do some sub and grapple drills, sub mode. Wanna run a big tourney between online friends? Invite them all to tournament mode and see who can make it to the top

If only the stand and bang mode would have a ring i would be really statisfied. It gives the mode more credibility and the ring can then also be used in the regular mma fights online etc. It mixes things just a bit up which also adds to replay value.
In a perfect world they have also some different colours for the surface of the ring / octagon. But I think that if they added a ring we would already seen it in the first trailer. Still hoping of course.

I'm still not ruling out a ring in this game. After all we've seen it working in that Justin Trudeau mo-cap video. Who knows what they have planned with that.

And they don't really want to give out all the good stuff all at once anyway

Oh my god... Please add this in to online. The tournament thing would be amazing and wouldn't really split the player base that much. It's such a fun game mode. I played a version of it on mortal kombat. Not putting different game modes for online is a serious L imo. They'll also keep people's interest in the game going. It does get a bit monotonous just doing quick fight or ranked. I didn't play Ultimate Team because it was too pay to win.
