New gate strategies aside I'm not the most keen on new minigame graphics. I could be imagining this, but ufc 2 graphics seemed more transparent. I felt i could actually see and enjoy what the fighters were doing more.

The graphics that show which gate you are on are unnecessarily big. I'm also not so hot on how the "R" and "L" look on the directional things.

I gotta say, I am one of the best at submissions on xbl...ofense and defense... And I can for sure say yeah the escape gates need to be sped up a LOT. And I expect they will be.

Subs are way too good at this point. I've enjoyed every other aspect of the gameplay, but the subs are bad. I've tapped people with random guillotines, and despite reading GameplayDev's advice, find myself tapping more often than not whenever someone gets a sub off.

Then again, I was never really a fan of the four gate system, and would prefer something more fluid and less obviously mini gamefish.

The gates don't move anywhere NEAR that fast in UT. It's like 1/3 of that speed, even if the person attacking has 0 stamina and defender has 100%.

the new graphic showing the submission name and gates progression is an eyesore imo. hope it can be turned off (unless i just haven't seen it in the options).
