resolution doesn't seem like 1080p on the beta, right?? It seems like 900p. downgrade than ea ufc2. anyone comfirmed this?

They were never going to replace past assets just because it is a new game, if they have to re-do all of that, every year, other areas of the game would see no progress at all.

What I find weird though is how some fighter faces look more detailed in UFC 2 in this video, than they do on UFC 3. You'd think it would be the other way around. I didn't actually check which of the faces resembles the real life counterparts more though.

Dunno about Xbox one (that often sees games get downgraded to 900p)
But its 1080p on both ps4 and ps4 pro at 1080p output (Personally tested)
I believe if you have a 4K TV and the pro set to 4K it'll run at 4K (or probably 1440p with checkerboarding, that seems to be most Pro titles average rez)

I'm ok with the copy of paste of models because that means the devs have more time to create more models.

Imagine if they were to re-do all the fighter models, we prob would have a roster like EA SPORTS UFC 1.

Ofc some models looked really bad in EA Sports UFC2 like Eddie Alvarez but since then they have redone his model, he looked bloody awful in UFC2 but in UFC3 he looks really good

The presentation is the same but.. same can be said for UFC they haven't changed their ppv presentation but I would like to see the fs1 and fox presentation in UFC 3

Yeah that's exactly it. Touch up the uglier models (Alvarez, Cro Cop if we get him, they slimmed Pettis out, fixed Connors absurdly huge physique from 2) and focus on the new talent (Gohkan Saki, Ngannou, Tyson Pedro, Marlon Moraes)

I'm kinda crossing my fingers that some of the talent that has since gone to Bellator/Rizin did so after the rosters final cut (Mousasi, Larkin, Rory maaaaybe, Cro Cop, Horiguchi, Mir, Nelson, Crusher Kawajiri) similar to how we got Rampage and Bendo in UFC 2 despite them being gone.
