What does on point mean as it relates to striking stats? I mean people knew Cub was a good striker before the Ortega fight.

I worry about a loss like effecting his overall stats. Could be unwarranted. obviously I think it probably should effect his clinch, sub defense and fight IQ stats.

I wouldn't even blame his fighting IQ. Ortega was the one who pulled off an OP move. lol

Anyways, I haven't heard of any updates due to that fight. My guess is that his stats won't change because of it.

- There is no overall stat as you saw in the beta.
- The stats are pretty much final at this point.
- While the devs may be able to more regularly update stats, I dont get the vibe that they are going to make huge changes off of one fight.

Even in this situation, Ortega subbed him and was controlling in the clinch but I think that is more of a situation where Ortega should maybe be buffed and not a justification for nerfing Cub. With that said, I'm pretty happy with Ortega's stats so I dont know if anything needs to be done.

So you've played Ortega. I forgot about no overall stats in the beta, for the most part I just picked Dariush without looking at numbers.

Havent played him (he didnt have his stats when i visited back in August) and thats my issue. Right now I've seen the stats and I'm happy with them. I havent seen his moveset or perks. So based on the stats, he should be a strong FW. Now depending on his movesets and perks, he could be perfect, OP or under powered.

The ground movesets and levels are so important in earlier games. I'll take good movesets and levels over stats most of the time in UFC 2.
