Yeah, you're going to need to explain how that isn't just realistic. Some people don't kick well with their lead leg, some people have a terrible lead hand

Re: Why EA simplified striking attributes?

It's a "min-max" exploit for CAFs in Online Leagues, Career Mode and even UT, if you're lucky. Having minimum left leg power and maximum right leg power in Career is such a boring kind of cheese. I found it lame that UFC 2 allowed it. I want a proggression where I don't need house rules to make it interesting.

Differences in side power could be handled by move levels, imo.

I don't think you can do it in Career, because leg power is a single minigame for both legs, but fair enough, that could be really annoying.

I'm pretty sure I did it in Career Mode. But it was a while ago. I might be mistaking it with UFC 1's Career Mode. Thanks for the heads-up.

Okay, interesting...I was wondering what you meant too. U3 doesn't have left and right attributes either, just relied on move levels...

This is a terrible explanation for the change. Most people use roster fighters and play ranked. Any other modes are not a factor whatsoever. Do whatever you want with your CAF cheese there.

Re: Why EA simplified striking attributes?

my worry is the speed of kicks as nugget said earlier everyone kicks hard(some more so than others) but its their proficiency in kicking that makes the difference, if they could add a perk that increases leg kick speed that every fighter has and depending on the level depends on the speed of kicks for each fighter
