The game reviews got it right: Great game. Much improved. Incomplete.

I have only 3 gripes with this otherwise imo excellently put together game.
1. No sliders in career mode.
2. Long-term stamina difference between A.I. and fighter in UT is crazy
3. My #1 biggest problem with the game is when you rock someone it's nearly impossible to finish them. I end up having to knock down the A.I. six, seven times or more to K.O. them.

Edit: I mentioned in another thread but the leg kick checking by the A.I. even on normal is pretty nuts.

Does anyone agree that the grappling seems a lot smoother and seeing a lot of new transistions compared to UFC 2,I think we are being a bit unfair on EA in this respect as i am finding the grappling very good and have no problem with it. Of cause it can be improved in some areas but being so harsh that it is poor next to the stand up is not warranted.

I would agree that the grappling looks slightly better in this game. My major point is that overall, the grappling mechanics are a lot less exciting than the new striking mechanics, and therefore many players avoid the ground.

The grappling mechanics should be as deep, enjoyable, and flowy as the stand up game. Then this will become a great well-rounded game
