Bug or feature?

This is about the stance switching from open guard when clinching or grappling.

There is no open guard clinch (orthodox v southpaw) in EA UFC 3.

So when grappling from open guard, you switch stance to enter mirror stance (orthodox v orthodox etc).

If you go for a double leg from open guard and you release (feint), you will switch your opponents stance into mirror stance.

If you go for a single leg or clinch, you will switch your own stance into mirror stance.

I would neither call it a featire, nor bug.

So it's usable?

Can't someone just spam TD feints and change your own and your opponent's stance over and over?

If someone tried that. They'd get one hit KO'd from an uppercut, shooting TDs is DANGEROUS now, spamming TDs ends very badly, play AI Khabib and end your combos with uppers, you'll see, eventually he'll dive head first into one of those suckas and that's a wrap.

This was said for body punches.

They'd probably work too. I counter poorly shot TDs with head uppers myself, and they land well, knees are deadly too.

Think I've intercepted a TD with a body shot, but never got a head KO on a shooting opponent with a body shot, yet.

Had my first one hit body KO last night actually, guy lunged straight into an OSP rear body roundhouse, fight over, felt good.

TDs tied with head movement give you GA.

You could do it repeatedly while making them whiff on the uppercuts like they do against most body combos.

Do what sorry? I'm not quite following what you mean,

Do you mean they could chain sways, make you whiff then blast a TD fake to get a switch?

Cause they can't do that easily, there are horrible input registry issues on chaining TDs off sways, it wouldn't be reliable.

TBH. Given how easily and quick you can switch stance, I can't see TD fake spam being a huge unbeatable tactic, I think the person doing it is more like to get KTFO.

Edit: That said, I'd still like to see open stance clinch and stuff. I'm always switching after stuffing a shot due to the stance mirroring, it'd be a nice QoL update.
