go into practice and try escape the subs use 3 gates then cut down to 2.

The transition between striking and grappling has to get smoother, really game breaking for me atm.

I have been working on the subs,actually that's all I focused on for about a 3 day period, did strictly submission mode,and I completely understand the working multiple gates,pushing one close to the outside and then moving to the next one,my problem is the computer selects the left stick prompt the millisecond it appears on the screen which resets my gates.

They definitely need to improve finish the fight because there’s so many knock downs and it seems like you can’t take advantage of any of them some are animations and the other ones are straight out knockouts ,
From stand up there should be knockdowns that Give a option to finish your opponent or apply a submission or find a better position Like side control .
To my knowledge the beta had that scenario where you knock down your opponent and you had a quick submission but I am yet to replicate that at all since to game released!

Good suggestions for sure.

More Damage in Single Collar (or more like...ANY DAMAGE) is something I've always wanted. Is there a reason to throw punches in single collar besides to try and fake your opponent out?

It's definitely not to do any damage lol

and yea definitely hope they don't nerf body strikes. Go ahead and nerf unrealistic combos "Body Spam" --- but single body strikes, or even 1-2 body strike combos that are legitimate, dont need to be touched!

This has been a big issue for me, too. And something I was worried about since the beta. In its current state it feels too much like you're playing two different games because of the updated standup and the outdated grappling/clinch. They didn't have to change the mechanics of clinch/takedowns, they just needed to change the animations and it would have made all the difference. The animations for clinching look completely weird compared to the animations for striking.

Combos are lightning fast, too fast and too long. 3 piece should be the longest.stanina drain shouldbe much higher when preforming a combo , even if it lands and especially if misses.body punches should be nerfed sooo much.
