While Geoff is in here..why can't we see opponents records anymore? There was nothing like looking at a guys fighternet and seeing he's 100-1 and you're the 1. Why was this taken out? Can it be patched back in?

Since you can protect yourself from the KO by transitioning, and transitioning forces action, I think side control is in a pretty decent place in terms of balance, given the restrictions we're working under.
hopefully, 3rd will be implemented for ea ufc4.

It shouldnt take 6 years to fix side control. your excuses are weak. undisputed and even pride fc had this figured out years ago. just stop

People do block in side control.

I remember even recently in the Derrick Lewis v Marcin Tybura fight.

Heavyweight MMA is basically an entirely different sport, Ray Borg was in side control for like half his fight with Mighty Mouse and never once threw up a double forearms guard like people did in UFC 1

Just admit you were wrong and move on.

People can block from side control irl.
