I if anticipate the jab and do that ? Hmmm...problem is if I'm caught in the jab I can't throw any strikes .

Worst of all the jab seems to deplete chin health over rounds . I am still trying to look for a strategy to remedy this .

But thanks will try it tho .

The worst thing is that the jabs seem to deplete head health rapidly over the course of the rounds .

I stay in the pocket but man they just hold block .

I'm not a jab spammer so I won't fight like that .

Mix up your body attack using single body straights and sway body hook. Committing more than 1 body punch against an uppercut spammer is very risky. Countering the body is a great way to get some breathing room as they'll back off to regen the killed stamina.

Re: Jab OP or what ?

Get familiar with the distancing of the different "back steps" there are 3.

1. Single - tap LS (Left Stick) back
2. Double - LB + LS back
3. Double Evasive - LB + RS back.

If your new to back stepping, use 3. It will get you the most out of harms way and be able to counter. Lead Body hook off this is money.
1 & 2 is when you really start getting a command of distance as your still vulnerable. When you straight counter off these successfully though rocks and KOs happen like crazy.
