All this guy does is just throw Jabs and waits for your block bar to be depleted and then goes for the over hand or or upper cut .

I think the vulnerability window for slipped strikes has been reduced because now once I slip the jab or the follow up punch ...my opponent can block before I can hit him . I noticed this just today . It seems that slipping and swaying have been nerfed a little ...either that or this guy is incredibly fast .

It's just annoying cause once the jab catches you can't do anything but block or eat an uppercut or leg kick.

Even when you aren't rocked ...just three jabs will break your block .I mean come on !!!!!!

It can be beat by any directional sway and strike for a huge amount of counter damage nonetheless.

The jab is literally the worst strike an opponent can throw at you currently.

I think it also depends on the fighter being used. I fought a Holm with Tate who did nothing but spam jabs, 3-4 jabs rapid fire, Id try to sway, duck, counter. 9/10 times after evading the jab and trying to throw a counter shot, I’d eat another jab which would interrupt me. I beat him but it was frustrating that essentially mashing a button was causing so many issues and using movement and evading wasn’t given me any clear counters

I'm using 86 strike speed Nogueira to beat 97 strike speed JDS. Is it difficult - most definitely. It's certainly possible though and the way people around here talk you'd think it's an impossibility.

My main issue with jabs is just that they cause KDs and even full knockouts waaaay to easily.

Get a stun, go to load a hook off a jab. End up hooking air because your jab did the job..

For some reason that matchup is harder for me offline than online, on the feet of course.
