It's a perfectly legitimate reason not to play the game in it's current state. I hopped on ranked after the patch thinking the ducking uppercut issue was lessened to an effect that the game would be more playable, but I was matched with a ducking uppercut Tyron user who eventually KO'd me, and right after played a Conor user who was duck uppercutting and taunting me like his strategy was legit.

The duck/sway problem still persists and it's basically game breaking how you can't do anything offensively without worrying about being punished by it, unless you resort to the same tactics as well. Not sure how much longer until it's finally resolved but I find it sad that this glaring issue hasn't been resolved since release, it's been over a month and people are still abusing the heck out of it.

Didn't this sort of happen with this patch? I've seen some videos, including yours and it looks like your second strike doesn't completely freeze anymore. Got me excited lol, I hope it changed at least a little. I really do hope this is implemented soon, this change is going to be a full on GAMECHANGER. Fights will look so much more realistic.

Felder’s combo isn’t slowed down my Pearson’s head movement and Pearson is still hit while ducking simply because his head was where the punch was going (no punches weirdly changing angles just because someone slipped it)

yeah, following strikes should be landed when someone throws combo against duck. I have a complain about duck when i throwing a jab, jab should have less risk from now. If I throw a jab and my opponent evaded using duck and then i get freeze in that time. so his uppercut landed my face after duck and I getting rocked. just I threw 1 jab. just 1 jab. I 100% agreed hook and uppercut and other big strikes should have risk against duck or sway but jab is not.

Right now ducking a headkick is a viable defense. It should be extremely risky and get you murdered 9/10 times


How do you think head kicks should be defended? Peter Sobotta ducked a headlock on today's card made me think about this thread.

Single or body punches within combos in the fighters moveset don't constitute as spam. What situations are you getting hit in the body more then you would like?

I think, vulnerability is appropriate on duck and sway now after patch. Its fine imo and Devs should find other solution about current issue. add stamina cost and Martial Mind's gif.
