Same as real life

Either stay at the end of kicking range then back lunge out lf the way. Or stay in punching range and punch them out of the start up

At short range you can only duck kicks how do you suggest they be defended?

- Wastes 100% of your stamina.

Missing a Strike in this game gives your fighter an aneruism, just like Parries did.

All around the game is filled with those unrealistic/unresponsive things, because instead of letting the game flow freely, they are overinvolved with over-controlling the meta.


By flow freely you clearly mean have no direct consequence to any action. Yeah let’s do that let’s ask for the game to be changed so that you can never be punished for anything you do wrong because that’s totally what happens on real life.

First off headkicks at short enough ranges to be punched in the face shouldn’t happen nothing about that is realistic. Unless you have gymnast like flexibility. Secondly they only other defensive action is blocking which can’t be countered off of. So where do we go from there just allow the player attacking to always have the advantage I mean more then they al ready do?

There’s no advantage. If you’re in punching range you’ve removed their ability to headkick.

Or you can grapple. This isnt a kickboxing game

Except in this game you still be kicked in the head. In kickboxing head kick get back swayed more then ducked. I mean I guess you could clinch or fake a takedown but that’s not a punish and deals no damage to your opponent.
