In that respect I agree.

But what if we get to that point and then have the option of adding a whole new feature or mechanic that would shake things up again.

Do it, or leave it alone?

Or reset the records everytime a major change has been made that will force people to completely re learn the meta...

Yes it does. You can have various records with different fighters.

What I mean exactly is you should be able to reset your record and have various attempts. Why punish your playerbase when the meta isn't even down yet.

Couldn't agree more. This entire game is geared for striking. It feels more like a kickboxing game than mma.

The first thing I noticed when going from 2 to 3 is the ridiculously long denial window for.the clinch and takedowns. You don't even have to be remotely good at denying. You just have to know what direction to push at your casual convenience. The windows need to be reverted back to ufc 2.

Now a kickboxing game? It has always been a kickboxing game with takedown animations thrown in. This is the result of choosing "fan data" to develop a game, rather than structuring the core (re)/build around "fan feedback". Game data is not always a true reflection of how players "want" to play. This is the only game I have ever played that felt like the beta was an alpha build and the release was the beta. As the consumer, I appreciate the idea of consistently tuning and patching to try and fix issues. But we are almost 2 months into the release and have seen 3 patches and constant tuning.
