I rocked McGregor 12 times

With non-slipped strikes in 4 rounds. The final two rocks resulted in knockdowns and I was finally able to TKO him. I think the amount of times I had to rock him was excessive.

Probably down to the lack of punishment for rocking someone. Any video of this?

Maybe I just don't know how to finish the fight when someone is rocked lol but he was catching me with duck uppercut bombs so I was trying to be cautious. The final blow that led to the TKO was an uppercut as he was going for one too. And yeah I have a video I can post it if people are interested.

I just think the punishment he had to take was ridiculous.

Re: I rocked McGregor 12 times

You should also work on your combos when you rock someone.

Re: I rocked McGregor 12 times

I've had multiple fights (at least a dozen, two today) in UT where I have had double digit knockdowns (who knows how many rocks) and they still come back to win with a flash KO.

It's neat. /sarcasm

Re: I rocked McGregor 12 times

Yes, it's excessive. Not just compared to real life but also video game standards usually. But some people have chose to make the "combo" excuse for it. If someone noticeably rocks another fighter 3 or 4 times, 9 times out of 10 the ref is calling for a (standing) TKO eventually before it gets to 12 lol. It's ridiculous and shouldn't take any special or specific combination of strikes to finally end it.

Hell, more people might even fight more realistically if they had the risk of having a fight end after 3 to even 5 rocks via TKO if they don't want to make those rocks more dangerous or into knock downs open for FTF.
