Why do all lower tier fighters have bad stamina and health???

People who may not be the best at striking or grappling but can take a punch and don’t really gas. Why do they get bad stamina and low health ? I understand you have to make them worse than the top fighters in the division but aren’t they already with there low striking and grappling? Seems like some fighters they don’t watch tape on and just rate them 85ish across the board. It’d be nice to see an explaination on this. I’m not obsessed with any lower ranked fighters like some other people but there’s a few fighters ratings who I am completely puzzled by.

It's because of the MMA illuminati.

i agree stamina shouldnt be a top level fighter thing it should be the individual thing. e.g. clay guida has bad stamina because he isnt top level tier but in reality he can match the top guys stamina just skillwise he isnt there.

Dan hooker has horrible striking and grappling in the game and he has an elbow, knee, AND headkick KO in the ufc and he just tapped out diakese in his last fight. His 3 losses in the UFC were all decision losses and they gave him really low health stats 85 across the board. Darren Elkins chin stat is 84 when he is known for taking a beating. They upped his heart stat but still he has a very low rated chin. I don't get why they rate people low in their best qualities. That is what renders them unusable.

Yeah, this is one area of the game the devs really screwed the pooch. The goal should be to create as many viable fighters as possible. These stats and move sets are horribly inaccurate as well.

I agree, I don't like the way weight classes are tiered, especially in health and stamina stats.

I wish more stats were like Sakis. High teir striker, low tier grappler, okay cardio and a bit weathered health wise, accurately reflected.

As pointed out above, Guida is good example of the issue, his standup and ground are alright, but his stamina seems low because he's a low tier fighter, nor because it is IRL.

It bugs me because the higher tier guys are really accurately reflected for the most part across the board so it creates this.. Gulf, I guess, some mid-low tier guys feel accurate, like Rashad or Lol Nog, but others feel off like Hooker, Guida and Moraes.

Agreed. Especially at the lower weight classes, and especially since they won't open up matchmaking, picking a lower ranked guy just means you lose automatically most of the time.

If matchmaking was open I would pick more lower ranked guys with the chance that i'd be fighting someone less skilled. Sure it's a gamble but I would risk it because I enjoy using a variety of fighters. However, with current matchmaking I know every fight i'll be against someone pretty good.... and if I go in there with Mirsad Bektic and get matched with Conor, i'm going to get demolished even if I'm the better player. Even if I manage to outplay them my stamina and health will cost me in the long run. It really sucks.

I don't want every fighter to be equal or feel the same - but there needs to be a middle ground.

Great examples in Saki and Guida. Why in the **** wouldn't Guida have like 98 in stamina? Just because he's not top 10? Dumb.
