The best option: stay heavy on block, go for the body, fast button input, clinch spam

Ground, Clinch and Striking. A master of one will be slaughtered by a student of all 3, or something philosophical like that lol.

But seriously, a rounded game is key. Whatever you suck at, make that what your working on.

I found myself using predictable timing and patterns when I ended up against some high ranked competition in the LEC and it cost me the fight so since then I've been working on incorperating more unorthodox combos, setups and fakes aswell as a lot of short lunges, as a lot of folks don't seem to appreciate how dangerous they are until I've literally moved an inch out of the way of their jab and fired a return cross that put them down.

Stance switching is uncommon, from what I've seen, so becoming effective at that can really confuse people who are counterstriking or playing a slower, move in, combo, reset type of fight, they rely on patterns and if your constantly switching that's hard.

I wish you could switch way quicker though, I literally want to be switching mid-combo, but they have their use, you can use switches to move backwards and forwards a step basically, so a well timed retreating switch will often avoid an incoming strike and can open up some interesting returns.

AKA combo spam... it’s funny how combos are the safest way to strike, not single strikes kkk

I've been wondering how essential head mooment is for my (very casual) level of play. 'Cause most times I try it it gets me knocked out. I don't have the reflexes to read and react. I can pick up patterns and move my head accordingly, but only stupidly obvious patterns like when you get some dingus just winging hooks.
