Fighting IA is very frustrating

After 2300 fight solo UT, this IA got my nerve.

If you want to win, you have to take to the ground and lock a sub.

When i try to play real, its a nightmare vs 90% 5stars mcgregor.

- IA god of arm trap/head mouvment.
- IA dodge almost every strike, you gass pretty quick.
- want to cheese in the clinch because you cant touch him ? Sometimes he never let you grab him.
- IA has better stats on the ground ? : instant deny on everything. You want to fake ? He deny your fake..
- IA never make mistake when he sub you. if he has better stats and you locked, you lose.

If i dont cheese on the ground/clinch, he has superhuman reflexes. How its fun ?

I wonder if difficulty grow up after 20/30 win (cheese) in a row. it could explain some things.

If you like to play realistic against the AI, I suggest abandoning UT and just play custom match with sliders.

Re: Fighting IA is very frustrating

Difficulty in UT is currently based on your division, and rank within it. Once you get high enough, almost all of your fights are against the Legendary AI. I'm not super fond of this, because it forces the user to play against an AI that they don't necessarily want, but it also helps stop users in high divisions from farming coins against the AI.

We have some ideas on how to improve this, and hopefully you'll see them soon.

Re: Fighting IA is very frustrating

Tanks for clarifications.

Im currently 15e and i have to cheese if i want the win.
Sometimes i try to play "real" but as soon as you press a button, he dodge and counter you so fast with 5 stars mcgregor.. insane. You end up at stamina disadvantage very quick if you trow some combo.

Hopefully he has big holes on the ground (but you need stats advantage) or clinch but zero fun to play that way.

I never see someone online do 3 or 4 fake before a strike or fight without guard in front of your face to negate GA.

I'm happy about that, I don't care much about UT but I want to platinum this game, maybe single player won't be such a chore soon
