I agree, the fighter with his back against the cage really doesnt have many disadvantages, we should be able to transition into a single or double leg from most positions ( i think this is totally doable and would be awesome). Overunder against the cage clinch should be sped up also, right now its useless.
With your back against the cage in overunder you can
Throw, get double unders, break, reverse position or go to single, thats five options.
While pressing against the cage your main options are throwing, break, double unders or single collar, four options.
As you described, double unders with your back against the cage is a bit op in terms of denial windows, esp if you land one denial and build up GA.
