Forcing the back

Normally in grappling and especially MMA, the back is given from exposure and not taken by force. However I was watching quintet 3 and I'd really like Gordon Ryan's forced back take from mount given to the highest level grapplers. Compared to real life holding back position in this game is not nearly as frequent. Opponents have safer and just as effective options like going to half guard rather than giving the back. If anybody has Gifs of forced back takes please post 20181009_153421_1.gif

Re: Forcing the back

Well as for the gif you posted ...there's no body triangle animation in this game . Sorry if I got the " term " wrong .

Not a bjj expert but to get the leverage to pull that off both of your legs have to be wrapped around the torso of the SUB player . This animation doesn't exist in this game .

The closest I think is when you jump on your opponents back from back clinch that should be a body triangle subsequently .

But even if possible there's no sense of danger when you give your back in this game even when you have Kevin Lee on you who's RNC ought to be certain death .

I'm recommending it for the next game

Re: Forcing the back

Id love to see this transition possible off of an S mount position for the next game.

Re: Forcing the back

I'd love to see this. Have it connected to the players stamina at the moment & ground rating differential. But I'm sure we'd have to wait til 4.

Re: Forcing the back

I had thought of something similar, but off of submissions.

You could also make it a contextual transition against sub transition to back mount. Dom could transition the opposite way to roll opponent over for full body triangle position

Re: Forcing the back

Sometimes I catch myself thinking of a replacement system for the submission mechanism in this game ...
