Online Frustrations...

I am amazed at how infuriating playing online is....

The pressure my opponents manage to generate is unbelievable. I get ran off every ball, can dribble nowhere, and rarely have space to shoot.

I am also frustrated by how aggressively their team will attack, while my strikers invariably pause about 24 yds from goal. My opponents play direct balls to their frontline which always seems to be heading towards goal and in space...

This can't be as simple as "team style" settings, can it?
Is there some kind of speed cheat? Everyone else seems SO much faster than my dudes....

Thoughts on what I might be doing wrong?

attacking i am pretty good but defensively i am bad because i like to play somewhat honestly...

not to compete with players like this the strategy you will have to use will drain all the fun out of the game but if you play for wins i guess you will be happy.

1. max out your pressing tactic
2. choose the closest Defender and mash the second defender button
3.play deep back 4 but not too deep to protect against through balls
4. set up the offensive counter/allout attack triggers for when you get possesion
5. edit your formation to 5 guys in your half and 5 in theirs

that's a start and experience will provide variations, this is strictly for unrealistic garbage online playing if you care about winning or cheesing back, goodluck


in the impressions thread i am asking for advice on playing real defense where i am not mashing the second defender button, actually i refuse to ever use it. i like the ratings dictating how we play not a cheap gimmick cheese button

but anyway goodluck bro, to play online you gotta be ruthless and cheese because to find a good footballer is rare
