After trying to play with a team other than my usuals I decided to go into another test season w/ the Jags. Played vs. Young and the Titans who was only 3/12 in the first half, but ended with a 45% pass percentage which was pretty good considering his dismal start. But, I pretty much handled them 27-10. Decided to take the real test and go back to 9 min. periods as well as reducing cpu pursuit by 1, but increasing cpu pass coverage by 1. Again, playing the Colts as the ultimate test and I pretty much got my head handed to me, 30-10.

Manning's progressive stats had him throwing only 3/6 and a TD for 82 yds in the 1st Q. In the 2nd Q, he jacked up his stats by going a cumul. 11/14 for 203 and 3 TD's (Harrison, Clark and Gonzalez). The Colts only ran 22 plays (7 rushes in the 1st H.). By the end of the 3rd, Manning was 14/20 and 271 yds, but no further TD's. By the end of the game, Manning was 20/28 (71%) for 314 yds and those 3 1st H. TD's with 0 INT's and 1 sack. Other notables for the Colts was Addai rushing 20 for 68; Harrison going 7 for 109 and 1 TD and Wayne grabbing 4 for 69. Colts TOP was 17:06.

My own stats included an ugly day for Leftwich who was 15/27 for 242 yds; 1 TD; 1 INT; 5 sacks and 2 fumbles. Taylor wen 19 for 72 yds.; Wilford led receivers with 4 for 115 and Wiggins had the only TD catch. Jags had 58 plays (not counting P's and FGA's) with an 18:54 TOP.

Overall, I like the tweaks and the slider marriage. I need a few more test games, but it's definitely narrowing down.

Sliders are from the other "roster tweak" thread and the changes I indicated above. I can't speak for other slider sets working with the tweaks and gameplay rules that I do:

It seems that you like the Jaguars but sadly, Leftwich is an average QB at best but look on the bright side, if Culpepper gets traded to JAX, he's easily better then the other three combined if healthy.

And I love playing with the Colts. I love their deep passing plays. Their playbook is damn good. It's funny, I hated them in 2k3 but they're my second favorite team to play with after my 49ers.

LOL....naw...not too much of a man crush on Leftwich. I'll be testing with other matchups I'm sure. I'm going to do a similar tweak of convince's set. He said it was cool.

yo this is really cool, but when i play, the Wide outs are just so good, they seem to Overpower the DB's.

So why is their(DB's) ratings so low again?
