The latest release of NFL2K History should work with Finn's latest editor.

What problem are you seeing?

Maybe I'm just not using the thing right then. Im trying to get it to generate a roster for me. I generate the season in the season generator, then open the NFLController. I input the "use this file/directory" and generated depth chart. I open a Finns Editor to a default roster, then click go. It says Idle at the bottom and nothing happens.

In the 'Action' group box (at the top left portion of NFL2K5Controller's window), make sure that 'Fill out player data' is selected.
Also make sure there is a player selected in the list of players.

I just tried 'Extract player data' and that feature is broken. I'll fix it and release an update (although I don't think many people use the 'Extract' feature).
