Re-visiting the slow down animation

Guys, I have been searching the forums here, and I can't find a clearcut answer. What are you finding is the complete formula for eliminating the DB slow down animation.

And please, no stupid, useless responses, like "it never happens to me" and "just put performance EQ on".

I have Perf. EQ on and I still see it. I asking more about what combination of attribute tweaks, sliders, Perf. EQ on/off SPECIFICALLY you use!

Thanks.

Then can I come over to your house and have mac & cheese and we sit around in our underwear and play all day!?!

I'm going to have to DL your set up and actually see this for myself.

Ok, now can ne1 answer my question as posed above?

Download my set up use my settings as well and let me know what you find, as for the coming over part I would have to ask my wife first.

Re: Re-visiting the slow down animation

I haven't seen that animation since the dawn of time. Now, when I first played 2K5 back in the day, it was one of several obvious game issues that seriously bothered me. And while I didn't run tests for that specific animation issue, I did test for others -- literally days and days of testing.

Anyway, I'm saying all that because I eventually came to the conclusion that the "mental" player ratings were conflicting with each other and causing many of the gameplay and animations issues in the game. I ended up eliminating or enhancing their effect by either lowering them to 0 for every player, or setting the minimum for everyone at 95.

So I have Aggressiveness and Leadership at 0 for every player, and Composure and Consistency at 95. Composure is a QB-speciific rating if I recall, but I raised it for everyone nonetheless. Leadership IMO is essentially a pure cheat rating, and I have zero interest in ratings that cause in-game attribute boosts to players.

And I'm not saying all this is the answer to your question. I justed wanted to add something other than "I haven't seen that animation" because I saw how you responded to those other poor saps.

Composure affects the overall rating for QB's, K's and P's. Consistency affects the overall rating for every player. Can you post your roster file with all the edits that you have so I can test it out?

Thanks.

EDIT -

Also, how is the "leadership" attribute a cheat rating? Please explain.
