anyone with vista?does your ar reconize your memory card?

i used to have xp..but now with vista my memory card wont register in my ar.

ive searched all forums.. i hope its my memory card.

ive tried all the reccomendations like turning off uac ..

any help would be appreciated

I did the same thing that you did. I had xp, the computer crashed and I just bought a new one with vista thinking everything would be okay. I messed with it forever and never did get it to work. I was using other computers with xp for awhile and it became to much of a hassle for me so I spent 80bucks to have a new hard drive put in the computer that crashed and now that is the only thing I use that computer for. Seems crazy, but for this game it is worth it.
Long paragraph and no help..sorry.
If you can find the post "action replay work around" in here there was one guy that came up with some suggestions, but I could never get them to work.

if your using xport 360 try to run it as administrator

Try reading through adamreeve website and the link to making the Xport360 read xbox-1 memory cards. I later downloaded Action Replay to my Vista and used similar steps to get AR to recognize my xbox-1 memory card. The only problem I had was I couldn't get both Action Replay and Xport360 to recognize the same memory card, so I had to use separate cards for each program. I'm I rookie when it comes to computers so I probably couldn't tell you step by step how I got this to work. Good luck!
