I have a PS2 and PS3 should I get it for PS2?

2K5 is only available for Xbox and PS2.

It can be played on PS3 as long as the system is backwards compatible but I have no idea how to transfer rosters and whatnot.

I actually just picked it up recently (.99 cents) for the first time and am enjoying it every day. I guess i'm kinda lucky that I never played it before and am not "tired" of it by now ( 6 years after initial release). I honestly believe nothing better will be coming out for a while so I say go for it.

I would, considering if you dont soon, it will be VERY hard to find. My local gamestop had like 10+ copies of it one day, then literally the next they were all gone. Some dude bought them all and e bayed them. People know about this site and know guys like you want that game, and they will go out and buy them and make you pay more than you would have paid for it in 04-05.

I personally got mine to play during the NFL off-season. Once the Superbowl is over i ebay madden and play 2k5 till august.

Buy it. I picked it up 2 years ago for 49 cents (it was half off) at GameStop because Madden 09 was a travesty.
I no longer play 2k5, because I like Madden 10, but it's good to have 2k5 for old time's sake, kind of like a collector's item. I fire it up every once in a while. It brings back good memories.

I still play this game at least twice a week on my trusty ole xbox. Awesome game and nothing to this day has come close to matching it's presentation and overall gameplay. Not even Madden 10 which I bought and sold twice last year.

I have gotta stop giving EA my money! No Madden 11 for me. 2k5 has it all.

Yes buy it now save yourself....lol. Best football game ever in my opinion. Funny it gives madden competition 6 years later.
