Couple of questions:

For the online leagues using ps2....

1) can you use custom sliders online?

2) can you use custom rosters? official downloaded rosters?

3) Do you need to fill all 32 teams or can you have custom leagues?

3) 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 16...whatever teams you want. However many weeks you want.

No custom sliders online is a huge one. I'll just keep my XBox version.

How would custom sliders or rosters work anyways?

1) Both teams would HAVE to have the EXACT same rosters loaded. Yes, it could be a mandatory d/l, but probably bad idea.

2) Custom sliders for each team? They're made to help your game primarily against the CPU. Against another human, you're semi-cheating your opponent.

Online rosters work for NCAA because you're just renaming people. There are no trades, or free-agent pickups.

Like i said, it would be a league. Therefore everyone would have to have the same rosters. Its part of being in a league.

Sliders are fairly simple. The default ones are not good enough. You start a game, set the sliders for the teams. They both use the same exact set of sliders.

Its the same concept for non-league games. I always fix the sliders before I play a game online because the game is just not good on default.

Xbox version lets you use sliders online? And updated rosters online?

How about custom playbooks online? That's another big one because that is the only way to have saved audibles online. Otherwise, you have to set audibles manually at the start of each game.

The PS2 version lets you select custom playbooks but then it has a divergence error if you use custom playbooks (and saved audibles). They're telling people not to use custom playbooks. Not really a solution.

Xbox you can use sliders, if you edit them in game. Can't play ranked games though. You can't use updated rosters or playbooks.
