I'm Working On Opening Day Rosters, Too...

Well, I have gotten into the 2K5 roster mix as well and I will be releasing my set of Opening Day rosters. First of all, I am using the xbox/noplace roster set they released a couple of months ago so it's basically a template based on them. I credit them for that.

But, I'm been doing some major updating.. I've been trying to be on top of EVERY move (trust me, guys, I've been on top of the transcations like hell), depth charts, updated some ratings for some players.. all that stuff. Let me put it like this.. I've been using FF's editor to even get the o-line in their right positions (y'know, like a T moving to G, and G moving to C, etc.)... so I'm working pretty damn hard on them. There are a few missing players here or there (like a few 2nd year players or rookie players that are high in team's depth chart's [for example: SF's rookie Derrick Johnson who is like their corner on their depth chart]) and since I haven't really gotten to see them in-action they'll be missing until I'll get to see them play so I can rate them accordingly. If anyone wants to help me CAPs of young players on your teams that you know might not be already created be sure to holla at me.

My work schedule is ghey so I'm aiming for a Thursday release, but if not then they will be up around Saturday or Sunday so keep the lookout.

I believe that file was maxed out. How are you able to edit or create any new players? Also be careful. That file freezes I believe, just FYI...

Nah, man, it's not maxed out for me at all. And, plus players that have been retiring and such I've just been removing their photos and creating rookies & 2nd year players. And, I haven't had any freezes whatsoever and I've been using them since... like.. 2 weeks after the draft or so or whenever you guys posted them.

Here are my rosters as of today (9-12-05).. there are still some rookies and 2nd year players that I need to add, but for the most part they are pretty up to date. Post any comments or missing CAPs that you guys notice.

just looking over you had most of the rookies, but I looked at one team in general and I can see you gave the Raiders no love since

Teyo Johnson
Jay Foremen
Akbar Gbaja-Biamila
Anttaj Hawthorne
Chris Hetherington
David Terrell
Marques Anderson
Clarence Love

were all cut by atleast the Cut Date, some before...

Damn, my bad, man... that shall be fixed in the next release... as if the Oakland's 'D' needed to release players.

Yeah the Giants had some probelms too...

Jim Miller was on the team for about 1 day in the summer until he got hurt. Jared Lorenzen is the 3rd QB.

Chris Luzar was cut when the 53 man team was announced.

Those were just 2 real quick ones I noticed.

Nice rosters though thanks for all the hard work

Yeah, I haven't had a decent template to create him from. I've only seen him play around once in college and never in the preseason so I'm nervous of outright creating him. Same goes for Van Pelt of the Broncos... once I get a feel for the guys I hope to have some creations for y'all. But, keep coming with the comments, folk... I hope to have a rerelease sometime this weekend.
