Is it possible to take someone off IR using Finn's editor after they've been put on IR using the editor?

No.

There was a "heal" option for injured players in Finn's editor a while ago but he removed it because it caused problems. Once you place a player on IR (in-game or in Finn's editor), that player is done for the season and wont come off IR until you enter the off-season.
