VC's Opening and Final Rosters

These are rosters from the XBOX online service dated and posted here per request from my personel saves for my bro Dan77733 to use as he deems necessary and fit for projects he's working on and whatever other applications he has inmind, enjoy em' bro and have fun.

They have not been altered or edited in any way and are as they were DL'd from the VC crew via the online XBOX service for the current Gen XBOX.

Hey Rickster,
Thanks a bunch for these. Do you know if either of these has the clipping patch? I heard that they had released the patch in a roster update...

Usually when such a patch is applied it DLs and updates directly to the HD thats why you can't DL a patch its an application that can't be put in a file or transfered it goes directly to your XBOX HD from the programing source, patchs can't be put in file format its kinda like a program the changes the Hardcoding of the games design and we as end users can't alter or reprogam the Hardcode sorry but you'd have to enter the online service to get that portion of the game to re-set and apply itself to your XBOX HD I've heard of such patchs but they actually don't exist outside of the online service and are more relevent to actual pc games like Madden pc or Front Page Sports Football pro only thru the XBOX online service can you get such a patch for the current Gen XBOX.

And if possible, can you "sticky" this topic? That way, if anyone needs these rosters, they can easily download them and yes, that includes me since it seems that my crappy Windows 2000 OS always seems to give me problems every two weeks or so.

Doesn't sound like a bad idea but I really wouldn't know where to start because this game and its rosters are kinda like "The Twlight Zone" ranging from its strange but unique draft logic to it phenominal ease of use being capable of creating any roster in time with the use of Finns editor, to date I still haven't reached its limatations and/or figured out its very unique applications from exporting draft classes to handling the salary cap issues.

It appears that the best of two world exsit here within the gaming community, first theres this game thats years ahead of its time and shows no signs of slowing down...this game was built to last IMO from the ground up and since using the editor opens up a world of possibilitys (Thanx Finn) its still here and attracts the attention of we few guys who've maneged to keep 2K Football alive within this small but deticated community.

Then theres the ESPN license which IMO is basically media driven and lends itself to those strange trades that make headline news within the game, yeah I know some of it doesn't make sense but it makes great press for the media perhaps we've been too harsh on what it does but thats what makes the game interesting for some and adjusting to those changes is part of its complex formula...ESPN and those reports along with the news room provide some pretty unique situations IMO anyways.

I wouldn't know where to start but getting ones hands on a base roster unedited is a good place to start out with unless you're lucky enough to get one that doesn't freeze up and cause issues and keep it ongoing for who knows how long but where do you start...the rosters with data from a previous season or spend time researching data to update and merge with data current from an exsiting or past era or better yet use data already presented and apply simular aspects to mimic exsiting players say like Faulk being a base for Bush and players of simular skills and potential.

I've spent alot of time with this game and haven't found anything close to what it can do with guys different rosters ranging from the 64/127 aggression model to zero sliders it can and does lend itself to almost anything these guys come up with but a "Sticky" where would I start...pick a spot and topic and I'm there this game won't quit and if you start it off I'm more then happy to contribute and comment, share ideas and concepts and whatever eles because IMO its better then anything to date including "Next Gen" applications so start one up and I'll be there bro believe that!

As far as access to rosters I've got plenty of em' so thats not a problem for me and I'm willing to share em' how you guys work em' is a different story I'm in it for for fun and pleasure of just playing the game and having fun so if you wanna talk "Step into my office" I'm right here at "OS...Da Spot".

True. I cant argue with you there. There are plenty of rosters available that should be stuck on the page but I figured that the final roster update from VC is the one that the majority used as a base.

Thanks again for the rosters but there's a problem with the opening roster. The Action Replay doesnt detect it as an official Xbox save. The file is also too big. It should be about the same size as the final roster update. Could it be that you downloaded the "online" roster update that downloads automatically when you go online? When you get the chance, can you see what the problem is? Thanks.

OK here is is again from the opening day dated as it was from the online DL saved to my XBOX.

Possibly loading both at the same time makes a big difference, don't know how maybe the way they're formated I guess when DLing them.
