REGULATIONS:
Through the course of a given league season, a maximum of one trade will be allowed to be made. In the offseason, a maximum of one trade will be allowed to be made. Draft pick-only trades are any trade involving any draft pick will count towards any trade. If no or only one trade is made during a given season, the remaining trades are allowed to be utilized during the following season. During a given season/offseason, any number of free agents may be signed, however there are some rules that come with that. Only one player signed may have a player rating of 80 or higher, and only one player may be signed to a multi-year contract. Note that this does not apply to extensions or re-signings. All other free agents signed must receive a 1-year contract. Anyone on the roster regardless of player rating may be retained however a maximum of ten restricted free agents may be retained. Players that are not re-signed are let go to free agency and may not be signed again for a years worth of time if they are indeed still a free agent or their contract with their new team has expired. The franchise tag is included in this number. Anyone on the roster may be extended however a maximum of one player with a player rating of or higher then 80 may be extended. A maximum of two players during the course of a given season may receive an extension to their contract.

SEASON PREVIEW

QB Josh Freeman throws a TD pass to WR Mike Williams to secure a win versus the Carolina Panthers.

TAMPA BAY, FL -- A new coach, Will Lofton, has taken the reigns of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers franchise and will be handling general manager duties as well. He takes over a team that is a candidate to win the division and was the NFL's youngest team in the 2010-2011 season.

"I'm extremely excited." Lofton had to say about his acquisition. "I had the option to join a few different select clubs but I chose the Bucs position because of the youth of the team and I feel like this team is going to go places and has a shot at winning the division this season."

The Buccaneers will have to get past a tough Saints club but with guys such as Josh Freeman, LaGarrette Blount and Mike Williams on top, taking the division in 2011-2012 shouldn't be a difficult task.
