"Since all the teams in the NFL this year are re-aligning all their player personels, the Packers have decided to build around a solid QB who is fairly young and has a great career ahead of him. This is what the Packers have done in the past with Brett Favre and we all know how that turned out. This is why we chose Drew Brees to lead this team into battle for this year and hopefully years beyond. "

"Other than a star quarteback we also wanted a younger team overall so to fill out the offense we picked up Darren McFadden at HB, Steve Breaston as #2 WR, and two great young lineman with Ben Grubbs at LG and Eben Britton at RT. We also sprinkled in some veterans to share their knowledge with the younger players and also give this team the experience to make another Super Bowl run. With players like Hines Ward at WR, Flozell Adams at LT, and Chris Baker at TE we have created a very balanced offensive force that will prove to be tough within the NFL this year."

"Our approach on defense doesn't differ too much from the offensive philosophy, draft young talent. We wanted to pickup CB Darrelle Revis and OLB Keith Rivers to kind of build our young talent around. Although we wanted to go young we couldn't resist picking up DE Greg Ellis to give our defense a boost. We also found a late round vet in CB Patrick Surtain to play opposite of Revis to round out the core of our defensive backs."

"Overall I'm very excited this year with the talent and depth we have and I believe we can be a top team in the NFL. Now it's time to focus on the upcoming pre-season and build a playbook around the stars that we have. See all you folks in January in our playoff press conference."
