The Fabulous Thunderbirds - Madden 15 Expansion Chise

With my Patriots chise approaching the final three games I thought I would begin laying he groundwork for my next project. The influx of relocation chises I thought I would have a go at one of those. For added challenge I have decided to make it an expansion franchise.

Though I have simmed the 2014 season for the sake of this chise the 2014 season will have happened as it did in real life.

Lot's of people have been asking me how to do an "expansion team". Here's how I did it:

Enter cfm as an owner with the team you want to replace.
Immediately select relocation.
Go to roster and release everyone.
Go to user teams on the last tab.
Select your owner.
Pick clear cap penalties.
Go sign 53 of the worst players you csn from FA.
Sim week by week until relocation choices are done.
Sim to the end of the season, I'd suggest turning trades off or you could end up with the cpu making trades for you.
After the season all your players will be free agents and you'll have a clean slate and most likely the #1 draft pick.

Woody Johnson, Rex Ryan Implicated in Point Shaving Scandal

In a story that is still very much in the developing phase we have learned that the NFL Competition Committee is planning to move forward with an investigation into Jets owner Woody Johnson and coach Rex Ryan. The two are accused of point shaving dating back to 2009 when Ryan took over as coach. The scandal was unearthed by employees of Pro Football Focus when they found several instances of questionable play calling and personnel choices over the past five seasons.

"It's too early to comment on the situation but we have been shown some very alarming and shocking information. This is an ongoing investigation." A member of the investigative team told me.

I was also told that the questionable tactics go back to the 2009 AFC Championship game.

Johnson, Ryan Receive Lifetime Bans

As a result of the NFL's investigation into an alleged point shaving scandal the Jets organization, owner Woody Johnson and coach Rex Ryan have all been banned from the NFL. The competition committee has found more than ample evidence dating back to 2009, the start of Ryan's tenure as coach.

"The evidence was overwhelming. It was beyond a shadow of a doubt." Roger Goodell said during his press conference. The committee believes the scandal was contained to just Johnson and Ryan and that the players were merely pawns in the scam.

"All the former Jets players will be free to sign with the teams of their choosing. We are exploring options to fill the void left in the league." Goodell continued.
