Return of the Dirty Birds | An Atlanta Falcons Revival (M15)

Return of the Dirty Birds
After an abysmal 4-12 season last year, the Falcons are determined to make a comeback. With a solid mix of veterans and young talent, they have the potential to be contenders once again. In this dynasty, I look forward to bringing a new identity to my hometown team and leading a new Falcons era. My goal is to become the fastest, most athletic, and most exciting big play team in the league and ultimately win Atlanta its first ever Super Bowl.

Madden 15 - Xbox One
Settings:
All Madden - 13 minute quarters - Clock rundown to 17 seconds
Custom Sliders (Realistic and challenging that allow me to make plays on both sides of the ball)

I will only be controlling the Falcons and will be playing as a coach to avoid the salary cap issues in owner mode.

What's up guys, this'll be my first time chronicling a franchise. I'm looking forward to running through as many seasons as I can and seeing what happens, so feel free to ask questions and offer advice if you're interested. It's always nice to hear more than one perspective.

Coaches Blog:
Preseason Roster Thoughts

On offense, quarterback Matt Ryan is the obvious leader and will be likely be our franchise quarterback for several years. Backups, T.J. Yates and Sean Renfree are both solid players, and we'll try to keep the three on this team.

The running back position could be up for grabs. Steven Jackson is past his prime and he knows that. I am excited to see what rookie Devonta Freeman can do on the field. Jacquizz Rodgers will still be an important part of this team with his receiving ability and scrappy attitude. 4th string Antone Smith, our speed guy, will probably see a lot of preseason time and we might mold him into a special teams player under Devin Hester.

Julio Jones, Roddy White, Harry Douglas, Devin Hester...need I say more? This is one of the best wide receiving corps in the league. No moves need to be made here as we'll have all of these guys for at least the next two years.

At tight end, its hard to replace future Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez. Bear Pascoe and Levine Toilolo will likely see equal amounts of playing time. Pascoe is more of a blocker and Toilolo has potential to be a great pass catcher.

We have a good mix of veterans and young guys on the offensive line. We're excited to have Jake Matthews join the squad. He already has great physical ability and we'll work on developing his football awareness at the next level. He has incredible potential to be a future pro bowler and Hall of Famer.

On defense we have several veterans and several rookies that will see playing time. Names like Sean Weatherspoon and Jonathan Babineaux have been on this squad for years and we'll look to them to lead these new guys.

At defensive tackle, Paul Soliai, a new free agent addition from the Miami Dolphins, will headline this group with Cory Peters. Look to see what rookie Rashede Hageman, a Minnesota Golden Gopher, can do this preseason along with Cliff Matthews.

The linebacking corps will probably be the area of our team that needs the most tweaking and developing. With only two players above the age of 26 (Osi Umenyiora and Kroy Biermann) there is a lot of improving that can be done for the future. Young veteran Sean Weatherspoon will headline and hopefully lead this group of young guys. Expect athletes like Marquis Spruill and Prince Shembo to battle for spots on the outside. Paul Worrilow and Weatherspoon will be our future at the middle spots.

Second year corner Desmond Trufant is becoming one of the best corners in the game and we'll continue to develop him. Expect a position battle for the FS position between Dwight Lowery and Zeke Motta. Also rookie Dezmen Southward has extreme athleticism and could be a great safety or possibly corner in the future. Veteran SS William Moore returns after signing a major contract and will hopefully lead this group.

Following. Seems well done and haven't seen a Falcons 'chise on this board.

Personally not a Matt Ryan fan but will love seeing how the White/Jones tandem does for you!

Thanks man! To be honest I haven't been a huge Matty Ice fan either, especially not this past year. He's growing on me though, and he's too good to ditch! (Right away at least...)
