SAVING DAVID | HOUSTON TEXANS 2002-

Do I really need another iron in the fire? No. But the theme of this franchise has long been a dream of mine to pursue. And now, thanks to cursive’s awesome 2002 roster, I can finally pursue it. Beginning with David Carr’s rookie season, and with the Houston Texans’ first year of existence, let’s see what might develop if a more concerted effort is made to spare David from a shell-shocked husk from the heinous number of sacks that were inflicted upon him. That’s going to require an alternative management strategy and perhaps even a twist at the outset. Cursive already has done draft classes through 2005 and intends to go all the way through to 2018. If I catch up, I may do my own instead of waiting. I expect this franchise to have very long legs, a la the classic “Remeber The 90‘s?”. It will essential be a re-do of NFL history from ‘02 forward, with plenty of other permutations that will affect the entire league and fee other “what if" scenarios. Enjoy the ride.

With the Texans entering the league, 2002 is the year that the divisions were realigned into their current format. It is also the season following Tom Brady's first SB win, the 20-17 "upset" of "The Gretaest Show On Turf".

Re: Saving David | Houston Texans 2002-

you're playing with the 2002 draft as it happened or starting before that?

assuming, based on the title, you're playing post draft
