While playing FIFA 15 Manager mode, I realized I was doing more simming and managing than playing. I didn't know if I wanted all of the detail that FM had, so I bought the watered-down mobile version and really enjoyed it. After many hours on it, I realized that I wanted more.

FM 16 drops soon I believe, but as of right now what game should I buy? FM 14/15? Another management game? Any and all recommendations are welcome and appreciated.

If I was you, I'd buy FM15, especially if you find a deal on it. This game has a very steep learning curve, and you'll be getting the best version of the game so far (in a lot of people's opinion) at a lower cost. That way you can see if you like the game for a before deciding when to upgrade to a newer version.

Just get the latest game, they don't change too much, its normally about £30 ish at launch.
