I already took Monday and Tues next week off! If they ship tomorrow, there is a slight chance some people might have it by Saturday!

Last year they shipped on a Thursday as well, though and it was here on Monday.

Still, will be keeping an eye on that yellow DHL plane!

I know somebody who works at the Air Traffic Control center in Western Scotland that covers the North Atlantic. I'll have a word and see if he can move a few things around, maybe give DHL a bit of prioritizing.

ah well will be a great weekend and i come home to mlb (and work, but the show will offset that )

Ok my dear baseball maniacs. My order from planetaxel is in "packing" state. It says it will be shipped in 6-36 hours. I sure hope it will get in here by Tuesday.

You going off the email they send or the updates on their website? The email I got said it was in packing and would take up to a few hours to complete. Went on the site and it was completed and shipped.

Hi guys. I have been a reader of the OS forums for around 10 years! I have never signed up and I have no idea why.

I finally got my hands back on a PS3 over christmas and apart from Uncharted 3 (which is incredible) I have held out buying The Show as the new one is sooo close to release.

I have usually buy my imports from ebay in the past as they have normally been out for a few weeks. This year is different. I thought I'd get in on this while its new. After reading through pages and pages of hype on MLB 12 I thought I better find somewhere to get it to me, and fast!

Thanks to you guys, I found the choice of PlanetAxel or VG+.

I jumped for PlanetAxel as they seem to get the game to you almost at release (if not release day) and are quite a bit cheaper than VG+ (with DHL).

My biggest concern, and reason for signing up, is that I keep reading people having dispatches etc from PA. My account still shows no charges and just states that the game is not yet released.

I have emailed PA and had no reply. I am starting to worry that I should just cancel and get to VG+ asap before I lose out.

Whats everyones take?

As for the Planet Axel order, i have never used them so ill let one of the other guys who has maybe chime in with some advice?

If you can afford it I would cancel and go for DHL with VG+. Its the only way to guarantee at least release day delivery if not the Monday.

I too ordered from PA today in the hope I'd get it even earlier than the DHL delivery however Ive not heard from them and unless I do before I go to bed I'm cancelling my order.

VG+ all they way!

Thanks for the replies guys. Yes, I'm UK based in Bristol. Most of my 10 year experience on these forums are to do with Madden, however its been a terrible game for years and years.

I play alot of NBA 2K11/12 and now I have a PS3 again I will soon be back on the MLB forums.

Could/would anyone who wants a game or two please add me. My PSN is BaSsMaNLoFtY. I haven't had the console long so a few american sports friends would be good

I may give PA until midnight. Are they replying to emails from their German office or Canadian?

After years with VG+ I went for PA this year and ordered on 15/02. The game was dispatched today so if I get it for release or thereabouts I'm happy. VG+ with DHL is definitely a winner, but I've found their standard delivery has taken forever with the last few games I've ordered, sometimes 2 weeks after release.

Ok, well I might order through VG+ and shift my second copy on ebay. No reply still from PA so will wait and see.
