The digital download is a good idea but personally I buy the disc simply because it has good re-sell value. I just sold my copy of 13 for £28 which I do every year.

Looking forward to 14, The Show is easily the best sports game I buy for the PS3 each year.

From the US but work in Eastern Africa. Already pre-ordered on the PS4 from Play-Asia. Here's hoping its not too long of a wait!

From England , but what has become something of a tradition is picking the game up during my annual visit to the states which is usually early April. I even have a vita now so I can play before I get back home

I didn't think EB would sell imported games?? but I can see where a disk can be handy, I personally never ever have sold a game or traded in a console, it's just a sentimental obsession I have.


MLB the show I think it's about time it's sold worldwide, Madden has been sold world wide for 25 years. it's region free it shouldn't be that difficult for us to have to look overseas, or make a US account to get it digitally in the PS store, at least make it available digitally for EU and Au store, not make us create fake US accounts to get it (which is legal just a pain)

I couldn't agree more and have been trying to pester Russel for years. NFL may have a bigger fan base (maybe?) globally but I know more countries have baseball leagues (Latin America, parts of the Caribbean, Netherlands, Korea, Japan etc..) so why restrict your market share?

is the EU store same as Au store? and was it out on release day?


I think it looks like I will have to do the old US account trick and get US PSN gift cards to get it digital , the Aust dollar sucks big time right now yet it would still be cheaper to buy a game from US then in Aust that's the funny thing

I sold it on Ebay, obviously it's got good re-sell value because the physical disc doesn't get an official release here. By the time you factor in Ebay's and Paypal's fees it's less than £28 but I still generally get around double what I get for any other games I sell.

How did the digital download work for you? Did you downloaded through Europe PSN or the US PSN?

I heard/read that there were problems or issues downloading/installing and having that pitching hiccup (prior to the patches). I been using discs and have been purchasing through VG+ the last few years, and was thinking about saving a few $ in shipping costs this year....as long as there are no issues with the downloaded version.

One more question, was the Eur PSN version available the same time as it was in the US?

I downloaded from the EU store, I can't confirm the release date for it because I waited until the OS rosters until I got it but a quick google tells me it was available early March so likely it was the same as US release date.

I had zero issues with the game and I played it A LOT, platinum trophy. Download took quite a long time but that is ISP dependant I guess and I started it during peak times, I just left it overnight and woke up for a sneaky quick game before work the following morning. Also worth noting if you are going the PS4 route the store and download services are much quicker now which it will need to be given the gamesize will likely swell for next gen.

Myself and Psycho already have it pre-ordered and paid for at VG+ (pre Christmas)....could really do with some info regarding release date so I can cancel and re-book my showcation! It's looking like it'll only be a couple of days of in March now with a view to carrying hols over to next financial year for either April or May release....sadly...

Im in that boat Ninjoid... hoilday to Dominican in late March / early April, so its part why im thinking download route (if theres not a set release soon / that is either side of my hols).

Either way im happy to wait, id rather a Show that is ready, than a Show that is forced out to meet deadlines etc

I do love the feeling of having a brand new case though... and the tracking... second to none

Alright Roolz! Long time since I've seen you posting

I'll probably get mine from VG+ as normal. I downloaded NBA 2k14 and it took nearly two days :P

I don't mind waiting for it to come in the post. I'm also not as poor as normal this year so I might even pay for DHL so I can track it!
