How do you like the new Forum look & feel ? [poll]

Theres still thousands of posts missing, this has been an absolute embarrassment and those in charge of this failure should just suck it up and change it back.

I can’t put my finger on it but for lack of a better description it feels like the board lost it’s identity.

It just looks and feels so sterile.

I can’t explain it. It’s just not feeling right.

I agree with you, and unfortunately, the forums just feel dead right now. I'd love to get an idea of how traffic to the site has changed since moving to the new forums. Maybe I'm just crazy and nothing has changed as far as foot traffic is concerned.

Yeah. Tech issues are obviously going to be the priority over visuals, but even a basic grey/blue OS theme would probably go a long way toward making it feel more right.

It has lost its luster and I find coming here a chore rather than an escape. Hate the black background and can’t seem to change it. The text is too small. Also, the section with the brownish background uses a gray text colr which you cannot even read!! The bloom is off the rose for sure. One step forward and two steps back. Biggest issues is loss of many regulars who used to post almost daily...

In the bottom left hand corner is the option to change the background.

When I try to do that on my laptop, nothing happens…no matter what color I choose the background remains black. When accessing the boards on my Android phone, the background is white…but it does not allow me to post anything. I verified I was signed in a s well. I can only post when using my laptop.

I would go to Steve’s forum to the thread discussing issues and feedback and share what is happening.

Hopefully they can find a solution

I enjoy this site and the conversations here; however, the new format is keeping me from visiting the site more than once or twice a week. The new layout requires way to many button clicks to get to things I care about most (notifications, etc.) and to be honest, it looks very dated.

Why doies it take 5 seconds when you use the Back button to return to a previous thread? That is unacceptable in this day and age.
