What don't you get about the point of BB kiosks?

As you probably figured, BB meaning best buy. I dont get the point of their kiosks for this years PS4 game because I'd have to believe that once they're finished, they're gonna ship the game out immediately and call it a wrap. the BB kiosks serve as early playable full copies, but if they're gonna ship it out immediately after completion, (which again I dont see why they wouldn't), then the people will have their games anyways, they dont need to play it early.

Of course most people here do buy it right away but those kiosks aren't aimed at people who are going to buy the game day one no matter what.


They are aimed at the people who don't know about the game. Again. Marketing 101......

Yeah I agree. I think they'll still have them. Most people who try before they buy aren't hardcore show players like most on here.

The masses pay the bills at SCEA, not the small group of hardcore fans. Sure, the dedicated fan base and guys on OS are instrumental with feedback and input, but the guys who walk up to a BB kiosk and decide to buy the game in June far outnumber the core base.

Lol not to mention that after they finish the game, they have to actually manufacture it, and ship it out to stores. It's not like the instant it's finished, it will magically appear in a Wal-Mart near you.

First post on this forum.

One thing I will say is that i am glad I kept my Ps3 rather then sold it when I bought my Ps4.

Something I am very curios of is if Batting stances will be different from the new ps3 version on the Ps4 version. Im assuming lots of new animations will be in the Ps4 game, so it would make sense.

I cant seem to remember if batting stances were changed/improved when the Ps3 game first came out in 07' I believe ? as appose to the ps2/psp versions of that years game.

So, for this "generated pitch count", does anyone know if fatigue will be randomly adjusted to account for it, or will there be an actual methodology behind it? Like will a pitchers stamina be based off 100 pitches, or just the pitches the user throws?

I'm so excited for the over hall to rtts. I'm glad they took out the advancement goals, mostly because I can't read much print being visually impaired, so I never knew if I was doing ok with them. Also happy they put the option back to have the broadcasters.
