I don't mind the none info since the small trailer. Its a very, very, very creditable product. I am all in. As soon as the Show for the PS4 hit the retail store, SONY will get $400-450 of my income tax money.

Well, that contract he got pretty much confirms that the rest of baseball thought he was the best pitcher on the market as well. There were quite a few teams rumored to be in on him.

My gut tells me Tanaka will have a bigger year for the Yanks than C.C., Beltran, Jeter & A-Rod combined. (lol A-Rod)
McCann & Tanaka will carry the Yankees this year but I don't think there will be ball in NYC come October.

I wonder if expecting Tanaka to be rated at least a 90 in the Show is expecting too much?

Tanaka at a 90 seems a little high for someone who hasn't faced a ML batter.

So are the guys saying "Lets wait till he throws a pitch first" saying that a AAA prospect went 23-0 last year with his stats would be a little excited to have the guy pitch for them compared to what was on the market this year? Im a Jays fan and do not like NY getting any better, even slightly but seriously? the guy isnt a bobsledder that has never played baseball in his life and making a career change here

Nobody said he was Gods gift, I just said he was the best starter on the market. Hell, even the Astros found $100 million to offer him! It's about time they try for some big names. I predict a 3-0 start for the Yanks this year...

And no matter where you're pitching, you can't ignore the numbers. Over the past three seasons Tanaka has gone 53-9 with a 1.44 ERA, a 0.944 WHIP, 593 strikeouts, 78 walks and 18 home runs allowed in 611 1/3 innings. Remember, teams' have been looking at him since 2007, so I'm sure they have a good idea of how they think he'll do. Now the only thing that will tell us is time.

Tanaka will probably win 15-16 games and pitch to a 3.5-3.7 ERA in his rookie year. After that, he will be similar to Iwakuma in Seattle, I think. Very similar pitchers who pitched in on the same team. You can estimate that their transitions may be somewhat similar, though Iwakuma was a bit older when he came to Seattle.

I just hope Tanaka stays healthy. And Pineda. And CC. And Nova.

If pineda can take that 5th starting spot, our rotation will be pretty good! Just adding Tanaka makes it look so much better. I'm very excited to get this season underway!

QUESTION: I know players who haven't made their debuts yet can't be in the game and stuff but how about minor league stadiums. ps3 had generic minor league stadiums. If the creators wanted to, do they have permission to create the real minor league stadiums as well? I know with the ps4 they will have the capacity to do this, just are they allowed to do this?

Pretty sure if they had the license to create real minor league stadiums they would have done so already. In the PS4 version i'm hoping we'll see more minor league stadiums.

do you think Masahiro Tanaka, Yasiel Puig, and Yoenis Cespedes will have actual portraits in the game? Cespedes has never had a portrait, anybody know why that is?

will Tanaka be included in the out of the box roster? or will he have to be created by the OSFM team? and will Bogaerts have his portrait in the game?
