Re: PS4 Discussion (MLB The Show 14)
QUESTION: I know players who haven't made their debuts yet can't be in the game and stuff but how about minor league stadiums. ps3 had generic minor league stadiums. If the creators wanted to, do they have permission to create the real minor league stadiums as well? I know with the ps4 they will have the capacity to do this, just are they allowed to do this?MLB The Show Hybrid Roster ContributorComment

Re: PS4 Discussion (MLB The Show 14)
I generally wait until the OS rosters to come out b4 I buy the game as I hate playing with the others as it's just a tease to me to not have the real one Knight and his friends produce.
Now to Sir Knight are you guys going to have to rosters twice for both consoles? because TBH that would really suck and would be really unfair to you guys that put so much work into these great rosters!MLB The Show Hybrid Roster ContributorComment

Re: PS4 Discussion (MLB The Show 14)
One thing I'm hoping for on the PS4 version is that they open up the customization in the player editor. I'm hoping there will be much more options when it comes to batting gloves, glasses, mitts, home/road equipment etc........ And maybe they get rid of the MLB the show jersey the player is wearing in the editor to his actual team uni(think 2Ksports on this one). That would make the editing process easier and faster.Comment

Re: PS4 Discussion (MLB The Show 14)
They do resemble many of the minor league parks. It could be a license thing. I'm with you though, I really want more of an authentic feel for my minor league system. And true MiLB stadiums would be a nice touch for sure.Comment

Re: PS4 Discussion (MLB The Show 14)
I don't know if that's true. They would have had to create 60 more stadiums for AAA and AA. I think they took the generic route so they didn't have to make as many. That many stadiums would take a lot of the memory that wasn't available.

Re: PS4 Discussion (MLB The Show 14)
So I have a question for those who own a PS4. When it comes to roster updates do I need playstation plus for it? (anyone who has played Madden, Live, or 2K14 would know). Thanks in advanceComment

No you don't. Sony does not hide most things behind a paywall like Microsoft. Even netflix, F2p games and some mmo's wont need it.Comment

Alright cool. My PS4 arrives next week and I wanted to know if I would need to get Plus to get roster updates for the Show or 2K14. Thanks man appreciate it.Comment

Re: PS4 Discussion (MLB The Show 14)
I wonder about the player and team vaults. I think we need a PS+ subscription to access online features. And I'm guessing these fall into that category.Last edited by juicer420; 01-24-2014, 06:44 PM.Comment

Re: PS4 Discussion (MLB The Show 14)
This is just a guess, but I doubt they would have much trouble getting the license for those. And I don't doubt that they need the license. But I would say the top reason for not having the real MiLB stadiums would be the sheer amount of memory they would take. And to make 60 of those would be quite the task. They probably never even bothered trying to get that license. Who knows though.Comment

Re: PS4 Discussion (MLB The Show 14)
That's extra cool to know because if 2k had the license then I'm sure SCEA could get it to. That would be sweet. I'd play a lot more MiLB games if the experience was a bit more authentic. The genericness of the minor league system can get stale at times.Comment

Oh did they? I never played 2k. Did they have all of them or just some of them?
