I am really crossing my fingers the the fantasy draft AI gets a little bit of an overhaul for the PS4. Things like:
1. No more closers being drafted in the 1st round. No team would build their franchise around a guy who pitches 50 innings per year. Not to mention, the average closer sticks around for only a couple years. I would like to see the CPU draft with less of an emphasis on Overall rating. I totally get it that a video game wants to give a guy like Kimbral a high 90's rating. Lets just not draft him like a franchise player. I know the CPU passes on older players. That is a good thing. Let's add some more elements to the decision making process.
For example, Craig Kimbrel has a WAR of 2.2 and Matt Latos has a WAR of 4.4. So, Kimbrel should NEVER be taken ahead of Latos even though he is twice as valuable. Especially since Kimbrel will only give you 25% of the innings Latos will give you.
2. No more 18 year old A prospects being taken in the very late rounds. Again, this has to do with the CPU not looking too hard at Overall rating. If I was to guess, I would say the AI for drafting looks primarily at Overall, Age, and Team Needs.
I would like them to focus more at service time (how long the club has control of them) and potential. For example, I would like to see Taijuan Walker (Seattle SP, #4 Overall MLB prospect) will be drafted waaaay earlier than Matt Garza. However, since Walker will probably be a 70 Overall, and Garza is an 82 Overall, that may not happen.
It would be great if the CPU could say, "Garza has a 2 year contract and he is 82 overall. He will stay an 82 overall during the duration of the contract. Is he worth drafting right now? Lets give him a value of 164 (82 Overall times 2 years we will have control of him)."
Then, the CPU could say "Or should we draft Walker? He is MLB ready for Opening Day, so we will have control of him for the next six years. He is a 70 Overall and projects to be a 94 overall by year 6. Lets give him a value of 492. (season 1:70, 2:75, 3:80, 4:85, 5:90, 6:92).
Now, I understand you do need to sprinkler some veterans in here and there. And I also understand Garza has less risk than Walker. So, there needs to be a balance. And I don't know how to solve that issue.

I'm a big graphics guy too, especially with sports games. Since getting a PS4 on launch day, I've tried playing some of my PS3 games. I've found that this is nearly impossible for me because the graphics are just that much worse compared to PS4. However, I have had no problems going back to play MLB 13 because its graphics are so great.
