I got'cha. I agree, it needs to be improved. There is some sort of light coming out of the Braves and Cards signs at their respective fields, but it isn't nearly enough to reflect what you would see in real life.

bingo!! those signs to be as bright and lit up as the other signs like in at&t and PNC park. they are neon signs that for some reason are not on. as far as the crowd being dark can totally live with it as long as they are lit up naturally when the camera is close to them.

So here's what has been removed that we know of.

Fans catching Foul balls and homers
The Ability to change/edit cap brims and ear flaps of MLB players (Confirmed in a bug report by a Dev. PS3 also)
Bunting control is now tied directly to swing type and isn't a separate option anymore(Mabster mentioned this)
Over 100 crowd models instead of 1,000
No Online co-op(confirmed by Ramone)

Things we aren't 100% of

Intro Fly ins (might be different depending on stadium, but looks like it's in)
Pitcher picking up the Rosin bag (In real time not a cut scene)

Am I missing anything?

Scea said that it was possible to eventually have 1000 crowd models, not that we were going to get all 1000 in the show 14.

Ok so after playing 3 games online it's still terrible online. I've yet to play an mlb the show that was good online and this is no different. Not completely unplayable, but bad. My internet connection is 100mbs and so is my buddy who lives a couple of blocks away. I believe this is something that is holding this series back. The bat disappears while swinging, it's very delayed and lagged and weird plays happen while online. On a positive note I love the new fielding and it being unpredictable like the past shows. And, the new cameras are a treat.

I mentioned this in the PS4 thread for anyone wanting a money saving way to transition to the PS4 for the show 14 .

Ok Finally pulled the trigger on a PS4 for the show 14 but only paid $299.99 through Amazon as I used my $50 Discover points and opened some Amazon c Card that rewards me $50 on first purchase that I will cancel in a month .

I also opened a free 30 day prime account to get free 2 day shipping so it should be here Monday .

Oh and I just sold my PS3 for $180 cash on Craigslist with no middle man so basically a $119 transition to the PS4 .

I'm not commenting on Online involving multi-user leagues.....
But I just created an Online 1 PLAYER franchise(to see if they added in the ability to just manage vs other players or CPU...but they did not ...longshot to something Ramone had posted....)

But there is good news on this front.
My internet connection is not that fast....but in a game vs. a CPU team....it's just like playing offline.
So those interested in an online franchise with just themselves vs. CPU teams...to get the additional benefits of the online franchise(GM AI upgrades and added stat tracking)......that's good.
I don't know if resolving other games is still as slow as ****.....I didn't check it out that much. I will though.
It does seem like the offline sims are quicker...

this has always been the case, playing vs CPU is just like offline hardly an improvement or anything positive lol

I agree that the lighting looks bad in some stadiums (regardless of intent or not it's bad) but I can't complain too much because Turner Field looks awesome at night and Im a Braves fan so I need to be happy

The night lighting issues in St. Louis and Pittsburgh will be investigated.

And Yankee stadium too. Do you know if a patch will be released to let online play be playable? It's very bad at this stage. The lag is really bad, bats not making contact with the ball in play, pitches look like they're floating to the plate and nothing flows smooth online. Such a nice game, but online is way behind the curb.

Pay to play online, in 2014, they need to get these issues ironed out.
