Here's the updated list as of now.

So here's what has been removed that we know of.

Fans catching Foul balls and homers

The Ability to change/edit cap brims and ear flaps of MLB players (Confirmed in a bug report by a Dev. PS3 also)

Bunting control is now tied directly to swing type and isn't a separate option anymore(Mabster mentioned this)

Over 100 crowd models instead of 1,000(Confirmed by Ramone)

No Online co-op(confirmed by Ramone)

Only 2 Spring Training Stadiums




Things we aren't 100% of

Intro Fly ins (might be different depending on stadium, but looks like it's in)

Pitcher picking up the Rosin bag (In real time not a cut scene)

Several player edit options under the accessories page are locked as N/A. A user cannot edit shoe color options , etc on virtually every player on several teams such as: Philadelphia, ST. Louis, LA Dodgers, Kansas City, Toronto, Chicago Cubs, and Oakland.(Could be a bug, but has yet to be confirmed. It's been on the 1st page of the Bug Reports for about a week now With no Dev comments.)

Am I missing anything?

Quick one -- are quick counts available in manage only mode like High Heat used to have?

Manage all aspects but a batter arrives at plate with predetermined count.

They are in the MLB 14 PS3 MoM games and I am assuming QCs will also be in the PS4 game.

I think I'll be skipping the PS4 version for now. I was on the fence beforehand (remembering how MLB 07 on PS3 turned out) on adopting the first version of a new generation and what I've seen and read lately certainly hasn't pushed me towards purchasing. I'm sure SCEA will improve the series on next gen over the next few years but for now, I'll probably sit it out. I'm pretty disappointed that things touted on the "fact" sheet were taken out.

I'm sure others feel differently and that's totally fine as well.

Unless you have yet to buy a PS4 i see no reason to get the PS3 version over the PS4. It will play fine. Most if the stuff people are talking about being taken out of the PS4 build were exclusive to PS4 anyway so the PS3 doesnt have them. You are buying an inferior product. Whatever though.

with the game being less than a week from release, I don't understand why anyone at SCEA can't give us a yes or no answer on the removal of such features.

maybe because they went too far on things they can't deliver?

alot of hooplah over the fans not catching a foul ball yet. I will enjoy having over twice as many fan variance as the PS3 and the new ambient ballpark atmosphere that blows away PS3 though..

I could say that I'm annoyed by the 2 spring training stadiums but that is something that has never been satisfying anyway. Alot of ST ballparks were missing and if they were to be created for PS4 I want them to be done right finally. As long as this doesn't mean 2 minor league ballparks I am perfectly fine with that. It's only 1 ST season I have to endure before I most likely have MLB 15 anyway.

But really I think many people claiming to switch consoles over this information aren't thinking clearly yet.
